About the Role
As an Origination Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and driving business opportunities within the rapidly growing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. You will have substantial opportunities to build strong relationships, negotiate deals, and contribute to developing strategic projects that support the green transition and meet the increasing demand for flexible energy solutions
Responsibilities
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and develop strong relationships with key industry players, based on the company’s segmentation, to create long-term partnerships.
- Drive Business Development: Support the company’s long-term growth strategy by developing new business models and identifying potential partnerships and investments.
- Identify and Develop Business Opportunities: Find and analyze Ready-to-Build (RtB) projects within energy storage and electricity markets, ensuring these projects can become commercially successful.
- Negotiations and Agreements: Lead negotiations that result in new business and projects, while ensuring agreements support the company’s long-term growth and profitability.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Stay updated on trends within electricity markets and energy storage to identify new opportunities and develop business strategies.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with technical and commercial teams to ensure business opportunities are transformed into feasible projects, from concept to operational facility.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the electricity market.
- A university degree in energy, economics, engineering, or other relevant education supporting this role.
- Business-oriented and experienced in business development, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills for complex business agreements, ensuring profitability and long-term collaborations.
- Creative and attentive, with the ability to think strategically and act operationally.
- Strong execution skills and unafraid to drive projects and business opportunities forward.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
